Seeking Enthusiastic Interns, eager to learn by
getting dirty. Students interested in protecting the environment
and idealists welcome. We are looking for able-bodied folk, willing
to work hard and learn a lot through on-site, hands-on training in
the latest methods. Company president is a founding member of the
Organic Land Care (OLC) program, developed first standards to OLC,
and teaches an OLC course. Projects focus on wetland restoration,
lawn replacement, native plantings, etc. Looking for all or part
of the 2007 growing season, March through October, 3 days or more
per week, 8 hours plus a day, $8 per hour, uniforms provided. This
is a resume-building work experience. Learn about the organic landscaping
business, native and ecological design, and brewing and applying
compost tea.
